Ryan Clark is the owner of The Original Kettle Corn Maker. He loves cooking, working with his hands, and making something people can enjoy right away.
After a layoff during the pandemic, Ryan used his savings to buy equipment and turn a family tradition into a business.
What keeps him going is simple: sharing good kettle corn and bringing a little more joy to people's day.
Rather than wait for people to find him, Ryan took his kettle corn to them. Visits to local businesses became a way to meet people and introduce them to his popcorn.
Ryan loves sharing something people can enjoy right away. The aim is simple: a good treat and a reason to smile, whether it is an everyday moment or a celebration.
In his San Antonio Living interview, Ryan described creating custom jar labels for birthdays and events. It is another way he has brought kettle corn into people's celebrations.

Some of my sweetest childhood memories were made beside my grandma, sharing laughter, love, and warm handfuls of kettle corn.
What began as a simple treat became a bond that stayed with me into adulthood and inspired me to share her recipe with my community.
